Full Time; Shift Hours and Days vary as needed

Expected starting wage range is $93,823.86 - $115,905.40. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

POSTION SUMMARY

The Senior Payroll Systems Analyst is a critical team member of the Payroll team and is primary responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the payroll systems. This cross-functional role supports Payroll in collaborating with Finance, HR, IT and other Business Units to effectively support, configure, and enable payroll systems.

This position is the go-to subject matter expert for Telecare Corporation's payroll systems and will partner with business stakeholders to identify and resolve system issues and pursue opportunities for increased efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of payroll software and technology, knowledge of payroll processes and best practices in payroll systems, along with excellent technical and problem-solving abilities.

From the hiring manager - The ideal candidate will have experience with understanding and implementing (Payroll) software changes, updates, and upgrades and has experience implementing and driving change. Will have experience understanding how system changes and laws can impact the overall business and be able to work in a cross-functional manner. - please ensure that this experience is highlighted on your resume.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Six (6) years of experience managing configuration and maintenance of large, complex payroll systems, e.g., UKG/Ultipro, Workday, UKG/Kronos, etc. within a multi-facility/multi-state environment. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related field; equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Proficiency in using and configuring payroll systems.

  • In-depth understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Strong data management skills for handling complex payroll data and integrations.

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to payroll systems.

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, software vendors, and external partners.

  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate system configurations and data management.

    Preferred:

  • CPP or FPC Certification.

  • Experience working with technical stack - Objects, Fields, Custom Objects, SQL, APIs, etc.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Own all aspects of the payroll system including configuration, compliance with relevant regulations, data integrity, testing of system changes, system upgrades and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

    o Provides technical support for payroll systems by researching and resolving problems or issues with business processes and recommending alternative solutions.

    o Troubleshoot any system issues and ensures appropriate parties are involved to resolve the issue.

  • Oversee payroll system upgrades and enhancements to include prioritization, functional design, documentation, testing, training, implementation, and support model design.

  • Drive innovation and optimization by delivering payroll systems and automation strategies that increase the value to stakeholders and reduce redundant processes.

  • Oversee system related governance controls and other related compliance processes. Ensure the proper security administration, configuration and system processes are in place and appropriately maintained and compliant with internal and external audit standards.

  • Consult with functional leaders and SMEs in HR and Payroll to design, develop, and implement technology solutions that increase operational efficiency, maintain compliance, and positively impact customer experience for HR, candidates, employees, managers and business leaders.

  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned independently.
