Req ID: 18119

NTT DATA Services is searching for a Public Sector End User Computing (EUC) Solution Architect/Strategist whose primary responsibility will be to support the pursuit of new business IT services contracts. Their charter will be to align client requirements and position NTT DATA Services to win new business engagements by leading all technology solutions development. This senior-level IT leader is expected to provide the vision and strategy to develop scalable repeatable processes and solutions in complex Public Sector environments, enhancing the company's competitiveness and to smoothly integrate existing service offerings into new deals.

We are seeking a high impact player with a proven record of developing solutions ranging from project based deliverables to structured, long-term technology outsourcing deals in the $10M up to $1B range, coupled with broad knowledge that spans a wide range of infrastructure capabilities and their respective cost structures. This includes how these capabilities must be assembled into an operational delivery model that is both financially and technically sound. In addition, the solution architect  must have worked on opportunities involving third party consulting companies that advise on outsourcing of information technology.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills are a must with an emphasis on sound presentation abilities and proven, demonstrable written skills. This person must have solid executive presence as this role will require frequent contact with executives, internal and on client sites. This includes the ability to immediately establish and manage critical customer relationships at the Executive level, including technical buyers and key project stakeholders. As appropriate, this individual must also be capable of interacting with the client's Board of Directors as well.

Sound financial and business acumen are essential, as the role will require the ability to manage, interpret and develop financial models and to respond appropriately to new business cycles across the scope of service offerings.

We are seeking a skilled negotiator; an individual who is able to craft and articulate how the value of the benefits of the "solution" outweigh the client's objections and come to a comfortable purchase decision that delivers both tangible business results to the client and a profitable engagement for NTT DATA Services.

Must possess a demonstrated track-record of structuring and winning long-term deals in the $10M to $500M range. This includes being able to understand the customer’s challenges to develop a blended-combination of technology and business solutions encompassing financial models, service definitions, service level expectations and timeframes to help them meet their mission. This will be reflected by a background of leadership in the pursuit and closure of multi-year ITO and/or BPO services agreements.
