Sr. Analyst - Amazon Business Analysis



The Sr. Analyst - Amazon Business Analysis will support the growth of Hasbro’s Amazon sales across the globe by synthesizing Hasbro and third-party data sources into insights. The primary responsibilities of this person are to use data to help improve sales, increase forecast accuracy, minimize issues with inventory, and provide ecommerce shopper insights to Hasbro’s sales teams, brand marketers and digital merchandisers, this key leader will also work with regional counterparts to establish standardized business analytics and KPIs for measuring Hasbro’s brand performance on Amazon’s platform across all Hasbro’s markets.



  • Develop globally standardized KPIs, reports, and scorecards to measure and monitor the performance of Hasbro’s Amazon business. Collaborate with regional partners to implement measurement and reporting.
  • Assess and optimize the methods for forecasting Amazon sales. Develop global processes for generating Amazon sales forecasts. Work with regions to ensure standards are followed across all markets.
  • Generate insights to guide business planning/forecasting as well as future marketing and promotional activation. 
  • Identify industry, product and customer insights that inform and drive business modeling, entertainment strategies and consumer interaction across Amazon’s platform.
  • Help establish a data-driven decision-making culture that lies at the heart of Hasbro’s desire to be the preferred branded play and storytelling activator on Amazon’s platform.
  • Work with Hasbro’s IT team to guide the design of tools, systems, and models that support the Amazon business.



  • BS/BA Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related analytical field.
  • 5+ years of professional hands-on experience using data and analytics to solve business problems.
  • Experience with analysis and processing of large data sets.
  • Understanding of statistical methods and ability to interpret statistical outputs and models.
  • Top notch written and verbal communication skills to convey key insights from complex analysis in summarized business terms.
  • A “data storyteller” – ability to mine through large amounts of data and analyze it to find conclusion, while presenting it in a digestible way.
  • Proven record of working with, supporting, differentiating, and profitably growing major consumer brands within the eCommerce landscape.
  • A track record of scaling a global program.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in an analytical area such as Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering
  • Experience with statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning (R, Python, SAS, etc.)
  • Expertise in developing forecasting models
