As technology transforms how we interact with all media, it takes a sophisticated business intelligence systems with adaptive business processes to continue to manage the integration of program viewing data with advertising strategies and revenue.  With a focus on deriving customer intelligence data, business workflows and revenue tracking, the Sales Systems Administrator works with the Sales teams to leverage the business systems to ensure Rogers Sales teams have access to customer intelligence that allow greater understanding of our customers goals ensuring relevance   efficiency and accuracy of orders from booking to execution.

 

Systems Administrator will be instrumental in determining, testing, implementing and maintaining business process within our operating systems to ensure that we service our clients accurately and efficiently.  As a “go to” person in the Sales Coordinator team their business experience, rapid comprehension for new initiatives and new systems, extensive system knowledge, strong mentoring and training skills will be utilized through daily situations.

 

What you will be doing:

1. Provide ongoing  business support to users of the application relating to system, data, and process, and effectively identify, prioritize, and escalate issues as required

2. Perform regular data quality maintenance and integrity check including data merging, transformation, imports and exports, de-duplication, ownership changes, address validation alongside the business unit

3. Lead or participate on special projects and major initiatives.

4. Recommend system functionality to maintain business best practices by determining business situational workflows. 

5. Create easy-to-understand tip sheets and / or communiques for new features and system changes for the end-users

 

Additional accountabilities required:

•Coordinate User Acceptance Tests for Business Applications.

•Test (as SME), complex configurations, rules, and integrated processes Business Applications

•Business integration solutions of existing and new initiatives (cross systems)

•End User Support and communication for all managed applications

•Defects and Change Requests management.

•Implementation of new technology and workflow for system integrations and process improvement

 

What you have:

•University/College Degree preferred

•Salesforce.com Administrator Certification and Force.com knowledge is preferred

•Software testing experience, with the ability to determine the priority issues identified

•Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal

•Strong sense of personal ownership and experience working in a high performance environment

•Proven analytical & triage experience

•Self-motivated, able to work under pressure to ever changing demands and priorities.

•Ability to learn new skills:  By self-teaching and by learning from others, retaining and extrapolating information.
