The  Implementation and Service Manager-Large Corporate Clients role is responsible for managing client relationships for large-sized or complex businesses within assigned portfolio. This role maintains retention and margin goals within the portfolio by proactively analyzing business opportunities against the merchant product suite and ensuring a strong focus on customer satisfaction and expanding the relationship. This position is responsible for strategically influencing and guiding decision within the Client Managed organization. This position is responsible for conducting business reviews, implementation and project oversight; strengthening client and business partner relationships; ensuring clients are up-to-date with industry and compliance requirements; and working with business partners on managing contract renewals and cultivating cross sales opportunities within their assigned portfolio. The role may also serve as a coach or team lead to associates who manage mid- or large-sized businesses.

Essential Functions

  • Proactively develop an account plan for each client within assigned portfolio and ensure a successful relationship as measured by retention, profitability, growth and client satisfaction.
  • Responsible for preparation and submission of applicable implementation/projects and end to end oversight to ensure a successful completion
  • Understand and analyze industry trends and effectively position Bank of America Merchant Services products and services to drive cross sales opportunities.
  • Strategically Influence and guide decision making within the client organization.
  • Develop routines that enable effective communication and collaboration with BAMS and bank business partners.
  • Facilitate and drive end to end resolution of escalations, financial dispute/issues and general account management.
  • Engage senior management and escalate issues as needed.
  • Serve as a coach or team lead to other associates within the team.

Experience

  • High School Diploma.
  • 8+ years of sales/portfolio management experience, including C-level sales.

Skills

  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience selling Merchant, Bankcard, Payment Processing or Financial Services.
  • Ability to quickly establish and maintain productive relationships with key partners.
  • Highly motivated to succeed in a performance driven environment.
  • Strong detail-orientation and problem solving skills.
  • Strong customer service or client-centric focus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision toward the achievement of personal and team goals.
  • Strong communications, including oral and presentation skills.

  • Ability to multitask and change direction in ever changing payment processing environment.
  • Ability to coach associates with less experience and/or knowledge

Tools

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to quickly learn various sales applications.

Physical Requirements

  • Works in an office environment involving sitting most of the time at a desk in front of a computer. The worker is subject to close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and viewing a computer screen to read and enter data.

Travel

  • Approximately 20 – 30% travel may be required to attend client meetings and training.
