The Energy Systems Group works with sponsors within the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, and Energy to develop transformative energy system architectures, test beds, and innovative prototypes to provide advanced solutions to the nation's energy needs and to improve the security and resilience of the Department of Defense and the nation. 


The Energy Systems Group is seeking a summer intern. The candidate will support our hardware development efforts.  In particular the candidate should have or be working towards an electrical engineering degree.  A focus on power electronics is desired, as this area will be the primary research focus.  Experience with hardware simulation platforms is desired as well as some software experience.
