Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a HRIS, Testing Lead in Benton Harbor, MI to join our Global Human Resources organization. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the human resources applications.  The incumbent will become an “expert” for HR applications thus enabling them to become the main source of assistance to other HR users. This role will also partner with the Global Information Systems function, that will provide deep technical support for in depth system configuration and maintenance.


Job Responsibilities:

Ensures coordination of testing activities within the integrated suite of SAP ECC payroll environment and Successfactors application suite

Responsible for development and management of Test Strategies , Test Plans, Test script development and coordinate Test execution and Defect tracking through HP ALM and HP-QC

Ensure Test scripts are kept up to date through system enhancement packs/break fixes and Support packs

Directs the activities of Test execution strategies based on the project plans and work closely with Business Analysts and Business users and implement Release Based Testing (RBT)

Provides governance on Quality Assurance by developing metrics for Right the First time , defect density and Defect removal efficiency

Gains agreement from internal System Owners on test environments, test data and test scenarios

Ensures payroll tests are conducted and accepted by internal stakeholders and impacted vendors

Facilitates testing execution and develops test evidence

Manages daily test status reporting

Provides coaching and support for Functional and Analyst groups in the development of test scenarios

Manages test exit/entry criteria, Happy path and alternative approaches of  test reporting and testing sign offs for testing cycles (Unit Testing, Regression testing, integration testing, UAT and  payroll parallel testing).


Minimum Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, or related subject required
  • 3+ years of Testing experience


Additional Qualifications:

  • Broad knowledge of HR business processes and supporting systems and services
  • SAP SuccessFactors/SAP ECC  experience helpful
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Fluent English language skills
