Job Description

The Accounting Analyst will report to the Manager of Revenue Recognition and will provide accounting analysis for Airline Solutions, a dynamic and growing segment for Sabre.  As part of the Sabre Airline Solutions Accounting team, you will take on interesting and challenging accounting responsibilities, including establishing accurate accounting under U.S. GAAP.

Responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Conducting and documenting moderate to complex financial analysis on assigned set of customers
  • Evaluating product/service agreements and applying accounting guidance under U.S. GAAP and company policy
  • Reviewing contracts for accurate revenue recognition and applying revenue recognition policies
  • Assisting with month end close journal entries and account reconciliations to the Airline Solutions segment
  • Ensuring billing accuracy for assigned set of customers including reviewing invoices for accuracy and flowing through to appropriate revenue recognition
  • Complying with internal controls under SOX 404 by ensuring internal controls are performed, documented and operating effectively on a timely basis
  • Assisting with various special projects as needed

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, Masters preferred
  • CPA license or plan to test for parts of CPA license is a plus

    Required experience & skills:

  • 2 - 3 years of experience in accounting and/or billing preferred
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects successfully with competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize workload continually and respond to top priorities with a sense of urgency
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
