Major Purpose: 


  • Responsible for the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies, including extensive customer business plans, for incremental dealer and/or direct sales to strategic accounts (high potential strategic governmental, national and/or rental customer accounts in the public and/or private sectors).
  • Negotiates the structure and implementation of purchasing agreements/contracts with strategic accounts and executive level management.
  • Provides extensive customer relationship management through development of unique customer solutions and value propositions.

    This position will be located in the Greater Hamilton/NIagara area - specifically, Grimsby, Ontario. 


Major Duties:


  • This position will initially require travel between 70-80% then resume a travel schedule of approximately up to 50%. 
  • Manage and execute customer relationships by leveraging principles of strategic account management.
  • Develop and execute strategic account tactics (e.g. infield demos, customer events, division events).
  • Attend Industry and farm shows that strategic customers will attend.
  • Participate in the delivery of regional training events for strategic accounts
  • Development of large Ag product knowledge and Intelligent Solutions Group. 
  • Conduct monthly customer interaction and dealer visits.
  • Prospects, identifies, make recommendations, and develop plans to go after new business (investigating required at local level).
  • Responsible for achieving sales budget and targets.






  • University degree is required, ideally Engineering, Business, Agronomy, Ag sciences or a related discipline.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to meet business needs.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Strategic Account management experience
  • Excellent understanding of Ag Equipment and Precision Agriculture.
  • Knowledge of crop production systems both from a perspective of agronomy and customer pain points
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to executive level leadership
