Develop business strategies and seasonal assortment plans to maximize the development of the brand, sales and profits for one department or assigned area. Identify opportunities and recommend new product or concepts for department. Coordinates information across functions working closely with Design, Inventory Management, Sourcing, Production, Packaging and Visual to ensure the process is followed and timelines met. Handles visual signage (new, specials, markdowns). Attends and participates in Design meetings

* Manage brand overstocks in conjunction with direct purchases to form the most profitable assortment by
* Run reports to analyze business performance on a weekly basis to determine what changes to make to maximize profitability
* Review seasonal brand overstocks on a weekly basis and core brand overstocks on a monthly basis.
* Collaborate with brand partners to recommend seasonal and core product mix for department or area. Collaborate with Inventory Management to develop annual and seasonal financial plans.
* Collaborate with Inventory Management to with purchase quantities and delivery dates.
* Communicate and partner with stores directly to ensure maximizing their ability to maximize overall channel profitability.
* Build floor set themes and features to attract our customers and maximize selling ability of the stores.
* Provide Inventory Management with final assortment plans (line lists), product details, target retails, estimated IMU, importance to overall assortment (big bets), flow to DC and floor plan location for developing purchase projections and buy plans.
* Run weekly promo document to determine promos, signage, and pricing for the following week to maximize sales, margin, and turn.
* Collaborate with Inventory Management and recommend adjustments (markdowns, delivery changes and quantity changes) to the plan to maximize sales, profits, budget (OTB) and to protect the brand. Determine contests and provide awards.
* Handle escalated customer service issues.


* BA/BS Required
* Previous experience in Merchandising.
* Advanced Excel skills
* Advanced retail math skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work in fast-paced, often-changing environment.
