Customer Service Representative

Acme Graphics, Inc. is a 105 year old company, manufacturing funeral books and stationery that sells exclusively through distributors. Our Customer Service department is responsible for managing inbound and outbound calls, maintaining customer contact and satisfaction, processing of orders, email, simple typesetting in InDesign and Quark Xpress and some social media communication and marketing. This position will start at 20 hours per week, preferably scheduled at 4 hours per day. Within 4 to 6 months the position will be a full time position. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. An ideal candidate would have the following capabilities: Ability to read and interpret customer orders.Above average ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and be able to present information in a logical step-by-step process.Great interpersonal skills with a confident and optimistic approach to resolving issues.Business math skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide. Added bonus if you have worked with basic product pricing methodology.The ability to apply common sense approach when interpreting instructions.Ability to operate computer, fax, printer and other standard office equipment.Ability to operate within various business applications, including Microsoft Office package, standard inventory management and sales order entry applications.Type and format name and address information in Adobe InDesign or Quark XpressGenerate email campaign, obtain orders from website, research and schedule posts for Facebook pageAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize job activities to achieve maximum overall results.
