Job Summary:

The RF Design Engineering Co-Op will be involved in the development of cutting edge products for wireless mobile systems. This position will enable a student the opportunity to work on design, simulation and testing of PA front-end modules.


Job Responsibilities:

1. Simulating/validating performance across supply, temperature and   frequency

2. Block-level design and simulation to understand the circuits that are being measured and correlating measurements with simulation

3. Analysis of measurement data and planning for subsequent experiments

4. Tuning RF front end modules in the lab


Job Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a PhD (strongly preferred) or MS program studying Electrical Engineering
  • Must be returning to school following this Co-Op assignment (we will not consider students who are graduating before December 2018)
  • Able to commit to the Summer / Fall Co-Op Program which runs from July 9, 2018 to December 2018
  • Candidate should be a self-starter and possess solid communication skills, both written and verbally
  • A firm grasp and understanding of RF/Microwave concepts as well as sound PA fundamentals
  • Knowledge of analog blocks such as Low Drop Out regulators, baseband analog blocks, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer and other RF tools is a plus
