As a member of the Operations Software Engineering team you will design, develop, and deploy semiconductor production and engineering software projects which support manufacturing and data analysis.  You will have the chance to learn and be responsible for multiple stages of the software engineering lifecycle including project requirements gathering, software architecture, and software development.  You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with the different functional teams focusing on Semiconductor Manufacturing, and may also work with Design, Product Engineering, Quality, Planning, and other areas.


What you will do:

  • Collaborate within a software team utilizing pull requests, architecture and code reviews
  • Well versed in software best practices such as revision control (git) and unit testing
  • Collect requirements, architect, write specs, and implement software
  • Extend existing functionality, fix bugs, and maintain current tools
  • Multi-task and adapt to rapidly changing business needs


What skills you will need:

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
  • Solid understanding of software design principles
  • Well versed in development on a Linux platform
  • Development of interactive web-based tools with database backends
  • Comfortable in both object-oriented and functional programming
  • Basic understanding of statistical methods (i.e. sigma, cpk)
  • Background in manufacturing processes (product life cycle)
  • Familiarity with quality systems and procedures
  • Data analysis using tools such as Pandas, R, etc
  • Coursework or internship experience with a mix of the following languages, standards and tools:
    • Python 3
    • ReactJS / Javascript
    • SQL (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
    • Tornado / Async programming
    • NGINX / REST services
    • Perl
    • Git / Bitbucket
    • Jenkins
    • JIRA / Confluence
