The New Jersey Institute for Disabilities (NJID) is one of the largest not-for-profit agencies of its kind in the nation providing services to infants, children and adults with developmental and related disabilities.  NJID offers specialized facilities, programs and supports throughout New Jersey.  Come join our dedicated staff of  more than 500 and make a difference in someone's life!

We are currently recruiting for Direct Support Professionals to assist residents with developmental disabilities with activities of daily living in a residential setting.  The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing daily structure and coverage to the residence, which includes supervision and assistance with daily living skills, personal care needs, case management, medication management, implementing goals and objectives, and supporting recreational and social activities. 

Job Requirements:

HS diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license are required. 

NO certification required  

NJID has full time, part time, and per diem opportunities in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Somerset Counties.

Location: Aberdeen                     County: Monmouth 

Hours Per Work Week: 30          Weekly Work Schedule: Fri. - Sun. 12am -10am
