Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Assists in successful project work through design, estimating, and project management.
  • Daily oversight of contractor and construction activities, daily reports, and contractor schedule compliance.
  • Investigate and respond to complaints about drainage problems, easements, rights-of-way, streets, alleys and construction activities.
  • Ability to verify all construction operations and materials used on the construction project are within the project plans and specifications.
  • Ability to read plans and specs and contract documents.
  • Accurately complete daily diaries, construction pictures, and documentation.
  • Oversee sampling and testing procedures on concrete, asphalt, and soil.
  • Review construction plans and job specifications to ensure compliance by contractors.
  • Maintain records and files on the status of assigned projects.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field of study
  • 1-3 years proven experience with a strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
  • 1-3 years of Civil Engineering/Public Works Project experience
  • Solid organization skills including attention to detail, multitasking, skills, and excellent communication skills
  • Experience withProcore, MS Project, and other MS Office Software preferred
