If so, we want to hear from you.Volt Workforce Solutions is looking for Technicians skilled in electrical repair, mechanical repair, refrigeration/HVAC maintenance or welding. In this role, you will travel to customer sites for the installation and maintenance of specialized manufacturing equipment. If you have the basic skills, the right attitude and a willingness to travel, our client is willing to train you in the needed skills.

PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment sold worldwide in a safe, efficient & effective manner.
- Troubleshoot errors or failures to root cause and recommend or undertake remedial action to restore unit to normal operating condition.
- Commission set up of equipment, when not in the field, provide Production, Test & Customer support as required.
- Complete and maintain various documents and computer systems used in the execution of work as required.
- Remain on call at all times as required by customer and / or service agreement.
- Arrive promptly and properly dressed at all customer sites.
- Develop and maintain a rapport with customers ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Technician level qualification in an engineering or related discipline with 3 years experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial plants.
- Understanding of industrial plants utilizing control systems with PC and PLC architecture, industrial refrigeration systems, and vacuum systems.
- Experience in maintenance of equipment installed in sterile/aseptic conditions.
- Awareness of operating principles and procedures of a manufacturing operation, including aspects of engineering, purchasing, materials control, and administration.
- Strong communication skills and ability to represent the company positively in all venues.
- Must be willing to travel up to 80% of the time.
