Norwood Family Medicine, a division of Summit Medical Group, is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join their practice. This is a Full time opportunity.
Responsibilities: (List does not include all duties assigned)
Supervises and provides leadership in clinical and diagnostic areas. This includes employee evaluations, scheduling, conflict resolution, etc.
Develops improved methods for task performance.
Adheres to, and monitors site-level compliance of, OSHA and other federal and state requirements as it relates to clinical issues.
Orders appropriate medical and drug supplies utilizing effective buying skills.
Assures clinical assistant coverage, effectively plans for varying needs.
Performs skilled clinical assistance when needed; preparing patients and assisting physicians during examinations and procedures.
Supports Site Manager with proactive and meaningful information and assistance, especially as it relates to clinical functions.
Responds effectively to patient requests, including returning patient phone calls.
Provides meaningful training to staff and monitors their understanding and implementation of training.
Maintains work area in neat and orderly manner.
Attends meetings as required.
Maintains strictest confidentiality both internally and externally.
Adheres to all aspects of the corporate compliance plan.
Actively participates in site-level Quality Improvement Activities. Each employee will contribute to the continual evaluation site performance as well as the implementation and measurement of improvement activities that increase the quality of care provided to patients.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma required.
Certification/License: Current CPR certification required. Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or would consider Certified Medical Assistant based on managerial experience.
Experience: Prefer three years experience in a supervisory position in a medical office setting.
