Summary Objective
The purpose of this position is to secure compliance with all laws, regulations, and ordinances governing land use, minimum housing, property maintenance, abandoned and uninhabitable properties, signs, zoning, landscaping, and related environmental issues.
This class works independently, under limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by specialized courses/training equivalent to completing one year of college in civil engineering, drafting, surveying, or a closely related field.
Requires one year of public works construction project inspection experience at the full performance level or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
This position requires the successful passing of a background check and drug screening. All applicants must upload an educational diploma/degree and a valid State of Florida Driver's License to the document section of the online application.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver's license.
