Fast Lane | Directions is seeking a Strategic Account Executive (SAE) with a demonstrated track record of achievement selling technology related solutions & services in Enterprise Accounts (10,000 employees) for the US and Canadian West Coast regions.


This is a remote role for an individual who lives in the following locations:


US (Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Utah, South Dakota, New Mexico, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, or Colorado) 


Canada (British Columbia, and Alberta)

The Strategic Account Executive (SAE) will work throughout the sales life cycle, from presales to final delivery, validating each training solution and/or service is properly scoped and implemented to provide an excellent value in experience for expected business outcomes


Primary responsibility is to drive IT training market share for Fast Lane across all product lines among Enterprise Accounts and Channel Partners


This remote position will report to the Director of Sales -Strategic Accounts


Compensation includes a competitive base salary and achievement-based commission income


Specific Responsibilities Are To:


Specific responsibilities are to:



  • Generate business opportunities (hunter mentality) through prospecting, professional networking, and cold calling

  • Create and drive revenue within a specified region and list of named accounts

  • Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas

  • Own the sales cycle - from lead generation to closure

  • Develop strategic territory business plan

  • Serve as the key point of contact for each owned opportunity

  • Research and expand current opportunities and identify new opportunities

  • Identify customer needs and interests and effectively communicate benefits and opportunities of partnering with Fast Lane

  • Serve as the expert in the company’s value, methodology and processes

  • Set clear communications to the customer as needed throughout project lifecycle

  • Collaborate with Customer Success Team to implement strategic plan on each primary account

  • Administer presentations, demonstrations, and proposals

  • Communicate with internal Fast Lane departments including operations, product management and marketing to coordinate successful product deliveries

  • Establish relationships with vendor partners and associated channel to help identify and support key customers

  • Establish a rapport and confidence with internal teams, company’s customers, and partners

  • Effectively utilize Fast Lane’s CRM tool for all pipeline activities


The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Characteristics:


The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:



  • 5+ years successful record of accomplishment as sales executive in a hunter role

  • 3+ years selling Professional or IT Solutions and Services

  • Technical knowledge of IT products and/or services for Microsoft, Cisco, Google, or other major vendors

  • Organized with a keen focus on achieving revenue objectives and maintaining a strong pipeline

  • Ability to develop, articulate and present a business case

  • Be independent, self-motivated, and disciplined

  • Excellent communications and writing skills, attention to detail and a positive attitude

  • Ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Previous experience in the IT training industry is highly desirable
