We are currently recruiting for a Cook Kitchen Supervisor to deliver a high-quality dining experience to clients in our new state-of-the-art Inglewood Residential Aged Care facility for 2 days and the rest of the week will be allocated to either our Holiday relief or our Commercial Catering Site in Malaga.
This position is a Full Time Permanent role. Working hours are predominantly 6.30am - 2.30pm day, with occasional weekend work.
You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of meals and refreshments for clients, providing guidance to Hotel Services (Kitchen) staff and ensuring compliance with FoodSafe and health regulations. You will also provide daily supervision, training and education to staff in food preparation, meal service, and meal presentation consistent with Brightwater Care Group Ltd’s daily menu guides.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Qualified Cook with a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
Significant experience working as a Cook post qualification.
Previous experience managing a small kitchen in an aged care, health, or hospitality environment.
Demonstrated experience working within budgetary guidelines.
Familiarity with Foodsafe and other legislation in relation to hygiene regulations for food areas and equipment.
Familiarity with texture modified diets and International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) guidelines.
Self-motivated and the ability to work unsupervised, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as a flexible team member, responding positively to challenges and changes.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with clients and family, team members.
You will also possess:
A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than 12 months old
A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
Evidence of up-to-date flu and COVID-19 vaccinations
