CHRIS 180 services include counseling for the community at large; school-based mental health counseling; homes for abused, neglected foster children with emotional and behavioral problems who are in state custody; supportive housing for single and parenting young people, ages 17 – 24 who are homeless or aging out of foster care; in-home services and community programs that strengthen families; outreach, drop-in and community housing for older teens, young adults and young adult families; a community center; an adoption program for children in foster care; and, training for professionals, human service workers, educators, volunteers, individuals who work within the community, other organizations and children, youth, and families. Department Overview:

CHRIS 180 HR Department manages human resources functions at CHRIS 180, including compensation, recruitment, equal employment law, labor law compliance, employee relations, policy administration, employee benefits administration, occupational safety, and risk management, personnel/payroll transactions, and other HR-related projects.

Position Description:

The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for the full cycle of the recruiting process; this entails sourcing, screening, and qualifying candidates according to specifications provided by the hiring manager and delivering those qualified candidates in a timely fashion. This position will also handle some administrative duties The individual will also be responsible for handling sensitive information; therefore, confidentiality, tactfulness, and discreteness are a must.

Role and Responsibilities:

The primary duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Partners with the HR Director, HR Generalist, and hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
  • Screen resumes, interview candidates, coordinate interviews with the hiring manager, and administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checks.
  • Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Organize traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
  • Develop advertising strategies (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
  • Assist with the internal transfer process.
  • Recommend and implement ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the organization, implementing any new processes, fine-tuning standard processes, and staying informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques.
  • Lead special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in recruitment.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with, vendors, community organizations, schools, etc. to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results, and credibility.
  • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Compile weekly requisition reports for presentation to your manager as requested.
  • Maintain internal tracking and reminders for training and performance reviews.
  • Conduct phone screens as needed.
  • Assist with personnel file maintenance.
  • Collaborate with HR Manger to determine requirements for the position and qualities of an ideal candidate for open roles.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Department, which will include heavy filing, answering phone calls, responding to emails, etc.
  • Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests.
  • Produce routine HR reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual, etc.)
  • Assist with maintaining HR documents on the company intranet.
  • Interact effectively with internal customers and external customers.
  • Must maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, consistency, and thoroughness in working with detailed information.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Perform other job duties as needed.

Documentation Requirements

  • Assist with audits of personnel files as needed.
  • Organize and maintain Excel reports for recruiting.

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information
  • Maintain confidentiality of risk management investigations, adverse actions, and other sensitive information
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Follow the CHRIS 180 Code of Ethics
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with supervisors in all departments regarding the hiring process.
  • Support and maintain an environment of emotional and physical safety for consumers, staff, and other stakeholders always.

Additional Requirements

  • Maintain detailed files, documentation, and billing requirements in a timely manner in accordance with CHRIS 180 policy and compliance standards.
  • Attend and participate in all meetings and supervision as required and in accordance with CHRIS 180 policy and procedures.
  • Support and maintain an environment of emotional and physical safety for consumers, staff, and other stakeholders always.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrate ability to articulate professionally.
  • Maintain certifications/training and provide information to HR and Training in a timely manner.

Qualifications/Competencies:

  • 2-3 years of human resources experience and/or HRIS experience in a small to mid-size company/organization
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, i.e., Human Resources Management, Business Administration
  • 2 years of prior recruiting experience is required.
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience required (Clear Company experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of HR databases (Paylocity experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate experience in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Time management skills; research skills; reporting skills.

Schedule:

This is a full-time position and typically works Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.
