Overall Purpose:
The Sales Manager will have responsibility for Managing lower level Sales Executives (Sr. Sales Associate and Account Executive) day to day activity, sales funnel and sales process activity .
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible to meet a monthly revenue quota goal associated with the Sr. Sales Associate and Sales Associates sales quotas.
- Accountable for meeting and/or exceeding assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas, maintaining existing and building new revenue within associated team members account base by selling DQE products and services to Enterprise customers.
- Must provide superior customer service on a day to day basis.
Will build and maintain accurate and up to date account management and sales professionals management plan.
- Must be self motivated and self disciplined and provide prompt follow-up to all customer inquiries.
- Acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies, & competitors.
- Partner with customers through a strategic and consultative sales approach to understand their business needs, issues, strategies and priorities to deliver a value-adding business solution.
- Oversight management of sales funnel to analyze and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned associates quotas.
- Utilize Excel to create spreadsheets and manage data related to customer accounts and sales funnel management.
- Manage CRM sales contact and funnel Software.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to present in both small and large group settings. - Must be able to keep organized, accurate records on daily activities and results.
- Strong organizational skills imperative.
- Must have a polished professional presentation to Customer and Prospects.
Coordinate the work flow of a given team. Support the review of work and training of other employees. Reports directly to Director of Sales.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Roles at this level require a university/college degree. Higher level education such as a masters degree, PhD, or certification is normally desired. Industry experience to be successful in the given role is 7+ years. Experience in Telecom or related field.
Scope:
Primary focus is on day to day management of operational execution also develops and exercises business plans, policies, and procedures. Contributes to proactive planning exercises of management team as requested. Trains and develops staff. Plans the work flow. Looks for areas of process improvement and directs available resources to accomplish this. Leads changes and implementations for direct team as pushed down through the organization.
Decision Impact:
Resolves problems of a greater complexity than the former. Improves existing processes & systems using conceptualizing, reasoning, & interpretation skills. Solutions require through understanding of business strategies and issues. Defines broad based solutions that would require consideration of wider implications on organization results & resources.
