Brand Momentum Inc Inc. is seeking a dynamic individual who will challenge the status quo to guide us in achieving first class value creation, build trust with colleagues and partners, simplify our business processes, drive growth and fight for our share.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


The successful candidate will be responsible for building the Brand Momentum Inc business and relationships with national accounts. The CBM Associate will support the CBM Lead to plan and execute sales strategies that successfully grow the business across multiple categories. The CBM Associate will effectively link Brand Momentum Inc brand strategies with core retailer strategies and will provide the team with fact-based insights & analytics to help champion the customer at Brand Momentum Inc.


Responsibilities include:


  • Driving profitable growth and national share
  • Achieving and exceeding quota
  • Leading implementation of company/category/brand strategy with Customers
  • Work in collaboration with the CBM Lead to develop the annual strategic planning process, including opportunity identification and plan development & implementation.
  • Lead multi-functional and multi-level contacts to maximize the account P&L and customer satisfaction.

FURTHER ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Take the lead role in selling and negotiating business development opportunities for his/her specific accounts under responsibility,
  • Deliver targeted KPI results as defined in annual business plans
  • Build ‘breadth and depth’ of relationships with key decision-makers & influencers
  • Work in collaboration with CBM Lead to plan & deliver sales forecasting
  • Manage and optimize trade spend
  • Provide value-added insights and opportunities through rigorous analysis of market, channel, retailer, and competitive
  • Utilize appropriate BDF sales methodologies
  • Communicate retailer strategies, initiatives and progress within Brand Momentum Inc
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the sales team

DO YOU POSSESS…


  • Demonstrated track record of growth on the field or at head office with 3+ years of similar experience at a consumer products company (preferably in HABA)
  • Bilingual (English/French)
  • Strategic thought leadership
  • Ability to develop fact-based, persuasive arguments across diverse and complex business situations
  • Provide insights which can be implemented in a sales environment
  • Strong presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; collaborative approach to dealing with multiple contacts
  • Nielsen (and related data) skills and excellent analytical skills
  • Self-motivated individual that can manage a home office position
  • Detail oriented and well-organized approach to managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent computer literacy, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA an asset
