Key Responsibilities
- Ability to maintain an approved supply base.
- Preparation of RFQ packages
- Analysis of supplier quotations
- Recommend sourcing decisions based on cost, quality, delivery and financial stability
- Negotiation of all commercial aspects of material / component, indirect and services purchases.
- Drive supplier cost savings through on-going negotiations.
- Support program launches through participation in the PDP process
- Maintain purchasing records, process internal eRequisitions and issue Purchase Orders as required.
- Other duties as assigned
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- Post-secondary Diploma/Degree in Business Administration required
- Minimum of 3-5 years Purchasing Experience required
- Electronics Purchasing Experience considered an asset
- CPM/CPIM certification is an asset

Physical Demands
- Normal amount of sitting and standing
- Ability to move around an office environment and on the production floor
- Ability to work at a computer workstation
