Job Summary


The Ethics and Compliance Operations Coordinator will assist the CITGO Ethics and Compliance department with the implementation and operation of an effective Ethics and Compliance Program.  Activities  include but are not limited to the operation and continual improvement of the CITGO third party due diligence and monitoring process, perform risk assessments, use analytical tools to measure the effectiveness of the program, and assist with other Ethics and Compliance program elements.  


Minimum Qualifications


Degree:



  • College Degree (Bachelors Level).


The minimum number of years of job related experience required by this job is:



  • 2-5 years.


List any specialized training or unique skills required:



  • Proven experience in an Ethics and Compliance role including program implementation, operation, and learning new technologies.

  • Demonstrated communication skills written and oral.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Experience in developing effective training programs.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 360 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).

  • Preferred SAP Experience.


Job Duties


  • Manage the overall workflow of the CITGO third party due diligence and monitoring program.  Reviews documentation, assesses risk levels, develops and reviews existing policies and procedures, and manages exceptions.

  • Assists with the implementation, development, oversight, and monitoring of elements of the corporate Ethics and Compliance Program.  Contribute to the continual improvement of new or redesigned program elements and automated workflows that improve overall efficiency and reduce errors. Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and business analytics, including data integrity, test design, analysis, validation and documentation, effectiveness reporting, and records management.

  • Assists in developing and creating reports for the Board of Directors and senior management regarding the effectiveness of the Ethics and Compliance Program.  Analyze data to tell compelling stories through visualizations to guide strategic decision-making relative to Ethics and Compliance. 

  • Assists with the content development and the delivery of training and outreach to help promote a culture of ethics and compliance and foster awareness of the CITGO Ethics and Compliance Program among employees.  Partner with business units to identify opportunities to engage CITGO employees with a focus on ethics and compliance topics and trends including Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, speaking up, conflicts of interest, and other relevant matters. Serves as a resource on Ethics and Compliance policies and procedures and enterprise risk management.
