Food Production Manager 1

Unit Description

Sodexo is seeking a Food Production Manager 1 for Lake Health TriPoint Medical Center located in Concord Ohio.  This position will support the Food and Nutrition Services at Lake Health's Patient focused care through "At Your Request" patient dining, internal catering and a seven day a week Cafeteria.


The Food Production Manager 1 will be responsible for the culinary direction of the account’s full service café and catering operations. In this role, you will be responsible for HACCP record keeping, catering operations and presentation of menus offerings. Menu, recipe, FMS adherence and knowledge to system standards.


Hands-on food preparation, inventory, purchasing, food costing, training, leading, managing the culinary team, managing food/labor costs, special events, direct client and customer interaction.  This position will report and work directly with the General Manager of the unit.  Will manage 20 plus employees.


Lake Health TriPoint Medical Center is approximately 20 miles from Cleveland is 100 bed private not-for-profit leader in community health care in Northeast Ohio.


Its mission is accomplished through a comprehensive network that includes 600 dynamic physicians, 2,900 health care professionals, almost 1,000 volunteers, and multiple up-to-date facilities. 

Position Summary

Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of food production employees. Responsible for the purchasing and receiving of food and supplies, as well as monitoring the inventory. Maintains food production records/cost indicators. May plan and cost menus. May supervise less than two full time employees.
