Job Description

The Business Operations team at Epsilon, India works closely with the Executive Leadership Team to conceptualize architect and drive a host of cross-functional strategic and operational excellence initiatives. These initiatives will be aimed at delivering performance & productivity improvement, process standardization and building sustained capability across the organization.

Job Description

The Analyst, Business Operations is a key role within the Business Operations Team that requires a combination of focus and flexibility, as well as a willingness to play a pro-active enablement role. The role requires a highly resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, integrity, and a willingness to put the company’s interest above all else. The incumbent is expected to support in execution of various strategic and operational excellence initiatives in the form of reporting and programs, with minimal guidance and supervision.


Operational Management
  • Prepare and deliver reports, actionable insights and recommendations for business KPIs across the organization.
  • Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and implementation of new processes, and improvements to existing processes.
  • Organize, coordinate, lead small to medium efforts across multiple businesses; ability to identify and understand emerging issues in order to adapt and adjust to shifting.
Strategy & Planning
  • Meet with decision makers, process owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and business goals.
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing operational and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
  • Identify and establish scope and parameters of business analysis in order to define the business outcome and measure-taking actions
  • Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analysis to aid management in making data driven decisions.
  • MBA or similar degree or comparable experience.
  • 1 - 3 years professional experience and a strong comfort with the IT service/product engineering industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Tools - PowerPoint, Excel, Pivot Tables, Access, VBA.
  • Working knowledge on handling different types of data sources like Business Objects
  • Knowledge of Data visualization tools like Tableau and project management skills
  • Proven experience in business and data analysis
  • Proven experience in defining and driving KPIs, process transformation, business tool process enhancements, implementation support
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) to communicate directly with global stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical skills: the ability to see patterns; and a structured and logical approach to decision making
  • Should be strong willed, a fast learner and able to adapt to an evolving environment.
  • Ability to multitask and work on a diverse range of requirements.
