The Gig
Our Site Reliability Engineer role exists to maintain and develop the infrastructure that runs the Healthengine website and associated services.
Responsibilities:
Keep on top of new technologies and plan the future direction of the infrastructure.
Keeping the healthengine platform online responding to incidents and resolving them to not reoccur.
Maintain and improve existing AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure including cost management.
Maintain and improve existing logging, metrics, monitoring and alerting systems
Maintain and improve development environments and toolsets to be like for like with production, enabling engineers to develop and securely deploy highly available services with confidence. 
Write clean, readable, and maintainable infrastructure as code and create tools to automate processes to strive towards CI/CD.
Monitor and maintain infrastructure security to confirm to CIS benchmarks and AWS best practices.
Disaster recovery management.

Experience you’ll bring:
Demonstrated experience with kubernetes, and container (e.g Docker, containerd)
Experience with AWS resources commonly used in hosting Web applications (E.g. Load Balancers, RDS, IAM, EC2 Instances, ASGs, KMS, Route53, S3, VPC, ACM, and so on)
Developing and deploying Helm charts
Good working knowledge of administering Linux systems
Good understanding of TCP/IP networking.
Infrastructure as code experience (E.g. CloudFormation, Terraform)
Coding/Scripting Experience (E.g. Python/Shell/Go) and tools around them (E.g. linters, git)
Advanced knowledge of logging and monitoring tools (E.g. ELK stack, Opsgenie, AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail)
