The opportunity


The Warehouse Supervisor role is a key leadership role with Symbion WA - Drive continuous improvement and safety in-out operations, Develop people and process for future growth and success

What you will do:

  • Safety and environment (including community safety)
  • Product availability
  • On time deliveries
  • Cost (including, but not limited to, productivity, freight and operational items and the cost of Symbion customers in relation to ‘cost of doing business’
  • Lead Team culture improvements
  • Facilitate continuous improvements through Lean and standardised work procedures and practices.
  • Understanding of Lean
  • Manage 5S system.
  • Where required integrate new opportunities into the business
  • Actively work with the your Team to identify improvement opportunities and resolve any issues.
  • What we are looking for :

  • Extensive experience in a high-volume warehouse operation
  • People management and development, with the ability to develop strong relationships with staff, suppliers and service providers.
  • Best practice safety
  • Application of lean principles
  • Computer skills including WMS, Outlook, Word, Excel,
  • Experience working with Union Delegates and staff representatives.
  • Effective use of QMS and WHS systems for document control
  • Experience with Quality Management Environment (ISO 9001:2015)
  • Certificate 3 & 4 in Competitive systems and practices
  • Good Analytical and problem solving skills.
