Urchins holiday club is looking for a Play Leader to work during school holidays.
Urchins is open Monday - Friday 7.30 - 6pm in the holidays.
*Main responsibilities: *
* Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff: child ratios
* Lead a team of staff
* Plan activities and timetables in advance of holidays.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times
* Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age.
* Report any child safeguarding or protection matters, including allegations and serious accidents/injuries to management
* Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
*Requirements and skills: *
* Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
* Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
