The Role:

The IT Infrastructure Manager oversees the execution and monitoring of the operational activities and events in the Global IT infrastructure for Salute Mission Critical. The IM will provide direction on ongoing activities and procedures required to manage and maintain the IT infrastructure to deliver and support IT services. This position can expect to provide leadership and oversight to their team and managed services and cloud providers and is accountable to drive improvements and strong internal and external partnerships. The MIS designs & implements consistent governance processes, best practices, procedures, and tools to optimize delivery IT outcomes.

The IM will oversee and execute operational activities and events in the IT Infrastructure. You will also aid in the strategic and operational leadership of IT infrastructure and execute and coordinate alongside the team and delivery partners.

In this role, you will define monitoring capabilities and use these to exercise event management, monitoring and control activities in addition to defining performance of maintenance activities following ITIL framework.

Accountabilities:

Ensures execution of activities and performance standards defined during service design and tested during service transition
Provision, maintain, and support Microsoft 365 accounts and entitlements
Ensures reliable processes are designed to manage day-to-day operations helping the business to meet its objectives
Balances business requirements with cost savings through optimization of old/new technology driving a value driven strategy
Assists in defining and implementing IT service roadmap based on ITIL service model for incident, problem, change and release management
Troubleshoots and performs preventive maintenance
Prepares and maintains documentation, including asset inventories, infrastructure architectural drawings, etc.
Promptly responding to IT-related incidents and service requests and troubleshooting to resolve end-user problems
Designing, operating, maintaining, and administering computer networks and related computing environment including computer hardware, software, and related documentation
Performing data backups and disaster recovery operations
Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replacement of defective components
Planning, coordinating, and implementing network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware
Interfacing with customer, technical staff, team members, and management to identify issues, negotiate changes, and provide strong customer service both orally and in writing
Tracking and supporting periodic hardware and software upgrades
Working closely with support partners to promptly resolve incidents and service requests
Provide recommendation to internal customers on IT solutions
Knowledge of cybersecurity practices
Working knowledge of CCPA and GDPR compliance
Ensure compliance of all systems with IT industry governance standards, ensuring robust information security for all stakeholders
Proficiency in networking technologies
Optimize IT Cloud Services, Onsite Infrastructure (Servers, Routers, Switches), and Onsite Services (Backup and Security Solutions) for performance, security and reliability

Required Experience:

5+ years of technology leadership experience
Account set-up for MS 365 accounts for international employees from a U.S. entity
Previous experience leading infrastructure delivery / management and 3rd party delivery functions, including driving performance through 3rd party providers / or managed services
IT Change Management
Excellent communication skills (verbal/written), organization, and strong customer service
Capable of handling multiple competing priorities while maintaining excellent customer service
Bachelor's degree in technology or business-related field
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server/Azure/Office 365 stacks, services and tools, and light scripting
Strong knowledge of integration of Cloud Services and Cloud Technologies
