As an Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) Intern, you'll join over 50,000 employees in the US and hundreds of thousands more across the globe to do impactful and purposeful work. This Siemens US Summer Intern Program is built to produce a pipeline of talent to develop and lead into our entry-level leadership development programs.

Engineering Leadership Development Program Internship

This is a 12-week summer internship program involving work in a wide range of functions, including product design, feasibility analysis, quality assurance, manufacturing, project management, service, product management, applications engineering. The program starts in May and ends in August.

Apply the knowledge you gained in the classroom to help solve problems while acquiring hands-on experience in a real-world working environment! Interns will have the opportunity to prepare for careers as a Development Engineer, Product Engineer, R&D Engineer, Software / Hardware Engineer, or Testing Engineer (just to name a few!) Your internship will provide you with the exposure, network, and practical experience you will need to help discover your own personal version of success and identify your career path upon graduating.

Upon successful completion of the internship program, you may be considered for additional summer internships or may have the opportunity to interview for the full-time rotational ELDP program and other entry-level roles within our organization.


* Major: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering (must be a student at the time of the internship)
* Preferred GPA: 3.0
* Ability to work 40 hours per week from May to August
* Organized, self-motivated, effective communication skills, problem-solver
* High attention to detail and dedicated to quality and excellence
* Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite
* Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization requires - applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
