Trane Technologies has an exciting new opportunity to join our organization as a Key Account Sales Executive in our Life Science Solutions equipment and services business! This position will be the primary business development driver for our largest life sciences customers globally. The focus of this role is to identify new opportunities, ensure we are specified in plans, influence global / local stakeholders, and grow our business with the assigned set of accounts. The successful candidate will be able to credibly communicate our value proposition and easily adjust between influencing executives to collaborating with project-level staff, as a trusted advisor among all stakeholders. We are looking for a passionate, energetic sales executive that wants to be part of a fun, fast-growing team.

This is a Remote position with a preference for the Northeast or Raleigh-Durham regions.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute account penetration plan, to drive profitable short-term and long-term growth, for assigned accounts using account management principles
* Proactively build all aspects of funnel, leveraging tools, to track and communicate progress
* Collaborate, communicate and lead key account reviews with broader sales organization to ensure traction and financial results in Key Accounts
* Build target customer relationships at all levels of organization to deliver on growth short-term and long-term
* Maintain strong understanding and be able to effectively communicate / sell our solution offerings and value propositions
* Gain strong command of customer needs and market opportunities to both position our solutions as well as provide input into the larger organization future roadmaps / plans
* Assemble and coordinate project / program development teams, as needed, to solve customer problems and win business
* Regular travel required to optimize face-time with key customer stakeholders. Up to 30-40%.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree required. Engineering, technology, science, or business field preferred.
* A minimum of 5 years of business development and solution sales experience required. Sales experience in cold storage, process equipment, or directly to large pharmaceutical customers in the Life Sciences market space preferred.
* Proven experience developing and maintaining high-level business relationships that produce results.
* Proven experience achieving high-level sales results including finding new opportunities and converting pipeline to bookings

Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $231,000
