**Job Summary:**

The Clinical Affairs Team oversees primary care-based clinical programs and other assigned clinics in daily operations, marketing, financial forecasting, strategic planning, revenue cycle, key initiatives, contracting, faculty support services and resource allocation for the Department of Family Medicine. Specific duties and responsibilities of the Clinical Affairs Senior Professional includes the following programs: Family Medicine/Primary Care Hospital Outpatient Department Clinics, CU Family Medicine Community Practices, Family Medicine Service (inpatient/hospitalist), other new freestanding primary care clinics, and other Programs as assigned

Key Responsibilities:

Clinic Operations/General Operations

+ Manage one-time/on-going projects within the Department of Family Medicine as assigned by the Associate Director of Clinical Affairs.

+ Regularly update tracking mechanisms to include Clinic Rosters, Health Plans, Primary Care First Rosters, Sports Medicine Time.

+ Work with Faculty in the coordination of training courses to include registration, printing material and ordering supplies

Revenue Cycle/Clinical Financials

+ Handle minor patient billing complaints

Human Resource Management

+ Manage monthly Float APP schedule requests and build work schedule.

+ Coordinate the dissemination and completion of the Ongoing Practice Performance Evaluation/Focused Professional Practice Evaluation for the department.

+ Coordinate special events and employee recognition (i.e. birth of a child, provider recognition events)

+ Attend bi-monthly meeting to track and communicate faculty recruitment and FTE changes

Contract Management

+ Submit and reconcile Special Clinical Payment for faculty.

**Qualifications:**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution

+ 2 years of professional level experience supporting leadership in an administrative capacity.

_Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire._

A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ 5 years' executive level administrative experience.

+ Administrative support experience in healthcare, higher education, medical school or health sciences setting.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**

+ Ability to interact independently with high-level executives and entrepreneurs in a manner that advocates for the best interests of the Department, and specifically, when pertaining to new programs and ventures

+ Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.

+ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.

+ Outstanding customer service skills.

+ Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion.

+ Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

+ Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks with independent judgment based upon a complex set of competing time and resource requirements and to handle changing workloads and demands as necessary. Must be able to determine most efficient sequence of duties on any given day.

+ Friendly, accommodating, proactive, and self-motivated. Exceptional professional attitude and able to work collaboratively, harmoniously and effectively as part of a team is essential.

+ Ability to learn new skills, synthesize and apply knowledge from diverse disciplines.

+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate discretion with information.

**Anticipated Pay Range:**

The starting salary range ( _or hiring range_ ) for this position has been established as $58,320 - $74,183.

The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
