SUMMARY: The Telecommunications Analyst I (Full Time Hybrid Remote) performs administration, operations, and maintenance of IP PBX phone systems and associated applications including basic troubleshooting and problem resolution of voice related issues. This role performs under general supervision of the Technical Support Manager and provides customer service and support to all employees.

The hourly pay for this position is $27.87 - $41.80 depending on experience, skills, education and internal equity.


* Performs basic user administration (Moves, Adds, Changes) in IP PBX phone system and other voice related systems.
* Assists with the installation of telephone hardware and software including physical desk phones, headsets, and softphone application on user computers.
* Assists with administering call routing to include changes to Auto Call Distributor (ACD) for Contact Centers and other department operations.
* Assists with identifying, diagnosing, and resolving problems affecting call quality.
* Handles basic telephony issues and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
* Manages incident and service request tickets in customer service portal.
* Assists with reviewing and analyzing monthly voice and data carrier phone bills for accuracy of charges and potential billing errors.
* Interacts with telecommunications vendors and carriers.
* Assists with developing and updating procedures for IP PBX phone systems administration.
* Participates in disaster recovery planning and simulations.
* Assists with orientation and training to other business unit employees.
* Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Ability):

* Possesses entry level working knowledge of subject matter with 1 - 2 years of hands-on IP PBX phone systems administration experience.
* Familiar with telecommunications concepts, practices, and procedures such as telephony translations.
* Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products and related telephony based systems.
* Familiar with LAN/WAN networking concepts as related to IP PBX Phone Systems.
* Avaya Administration training or demonstrated experience preferred.
* Must also have strong customer service & communication skills.
* Must exhibit analytical thinking skills and technical expertise.
