Patient Care Associate - Higher pay for experienced PCA's or CNA's $1,500 signing bonus for Part Time Under the supervision of designated unit management and the clinical leadership of a clinical nurse, routinely supports the unit through the provision of basic patient care, clerical and reception services. JOB SUMMARY:
* Under the supervision of designated unit management and the clinical leadership of a clinical nurse, routinely supports the unit through the provision of basic patient care, clerical and reception services.
MINIMAL ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Licensure:
* None required.
Experience:
* No specific experience is required.
* Lutheran will provide a formalized training class; successful completion is required in order to continue employment.
* Additional orientation specific to unit responsibilities may also be provided.
Education:
* High school diploma or its equivalent (GED)
* A minimum of three years of direct patient care experience in a healthcare facility will be accepted in lieu of education.
Registration/Certification:
* CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) within 30 days of hire
