Reporting to the Associate Registrar in the Office of the University Registrar, the Student Services Administrator (SSA) processes requests that involve student record maintenance and assists with other administrative functions. The SSA provides direct customer services by through various interaction methods. The SSA serves as a problem-solver who is expected to understand the core issue and devise a path to the solution. Demonstrating string problem-solving skills and technical efficacy, the SSA will utilize the University's student information system, Salesforce, Genesys, and other systems to deliver exceptional customer service experience.Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

At least 3 years of directly related experience. Bachelors degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:

* Demonstrated technical competency
* Demonstrated organizational skills and management of multiple tasks and timelines
* Demonstrated high level of assignment organization, priority, and task orientation skills
* Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to student records, including the Federal Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
* Strong professional judgement and problem-solving skills
* Effectively analyze, interpret, and communicate policies, practices, and guidelines with strict attention to detail
* Identify problems and issues that require special attention
* Work with limited supervision and perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy


* One to two years' experience in a university/college records and registration office
* Experience using a student information system, particularly Ellucian's Banner

This position is a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
