Client Details:
Our client is in the public sector based in Gauteng.
Role Responsibilities:
Performing highly complex tasks during the implementation and support of various SAP modules.

Carrying out high complex assignments requiring the development of new or improved procedures.

Analysing requirements, performing configuration enhancements and testing in various SAP Modules.

Analysing the current business processes and scenarios of the client and recommending / developing solutions.

Supporting the successful implementation of SAP applications.

Performing in-depth analysis of the current business processes and scenarios of the client.

Acting as liaison with clients for troubleshooting: investigating, analysing and solving SAP related application problems.

Incident Resolution for severity 2 and 3 issues and assist with Business escalations for issues raised.

Maintaining a thorough knowledge of the organisation and adhering to all organisational standards.

Providing guidance and leadership to junior resources within the area of work / expertise.

Ensuring that completed work adheres to relevant policies, procedures, governance and legislative requirements.

Developing / maintaining productive working relationships to achieve predefined objectives.

Applying practical / applied knowledge and acting authoritatively on methods, systems and procedures.

Communication of situational interpretation and judgement of work outputs and queries in the area of specialisation.

Applying policies, practices, standards, procedures and legislation in the delivery of work outputs.

Diagnosing symptoms, causes and possible effects in order to solve emerging problems.

Initiating process and procedural change, implementing the change and providing guidelines and support.

Planning for value-added process improvements, initiatives and services to deliver on operational strategy and objectives.

Executing specialist input through investigation and opportunities within the product process.

Providing specialist input through the investigation of opportunities for operational and process product and risk optimisation.

Implementing / providing input into the development of governance, compliance, integrity and ethics processes.

Maintaining professional interaction and ensuring ethical dealings with stakeholders at all times.

Integrating new knowledge attained through formal and informal learning opportunities.

Developing / maintaining productive working relationships to achieve predefined objectives.

Adhering to organisational policies and procedures to ensure cost effectiveness and reduction of financial costs.

Adhering to specified standards, policies and procedures (SOPs) to prevent wastage on resources.

Providing authoritative, specialist services, expertise and advice to internal and external stakeholders.

Ensuring client satisfaction by delivering a service that is consistent, seamless and error free.

Providing authoritative, specialist expertise and advice to internal and external customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7).
Relevant Skills / Experience:
5 - 7 years' experience in a SAP HCM environment.

2 - 3 years' ideally at a SAP HCM functional specialist level.
