The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen to join the Executive Education arm of the School as Head of Consulting and Product. This is a leadership role responsible for ensuring the commerciality and quality of the two product offerings in Executive Education and to support the realisation of the School’s revenue ambitions. To achieve this outcome, the role will develop and execute a strategy for the Consulting and Product Design and Delivery function and foster a collaborative and client-centred culture, creating conditions that support innovation and high performance. .
The role oversees three teams within the function: Learning Consulting, Learning and Impact Insights and Instructional/Digital Design (to be scoped). Some key accountabilities will include:
Lead and contribute to the business growth and accounts management through the provision of consulting services
Support the Business Development process, from lead identification, prospect meetings, proposal preparation and pitching by providing learning solution consulting services and quality assurance at every stage of the client engagement.
Actively identify opportunities to grow and expand business from existing clients in collaboration with other functions and by inputting to the development of sector plans and key accounts.
Oversee the building of Industry expertise in strategically aligned sectors and facilitate knowledge-building across Executive Education.
Create and maintain a knowledge repository of consulting assets and case studies for future contextualisation and re-use to ensure consistent application of best-practice and efficiencies in business development activities.
Develop and implement the portfolio and product strategy by incorporating the contributions of internal stakeholders and the voice of the client to maintain market relevance and activate MBS competitive advantage.
In collaboration with the Learning Innovation team consider and incorporate emerging trends, innovations for learning and thought leadership in the design and delivery of the Executive Education portfolio.
Be accountable for supporting all Executive Education teams (Business Development, External Resourcing and Relationships, and Client and Learner Experience) with learning design needs, including platform and assessment/ measurement tool advice.
Proactively contribute to the achievement of the strategic goals of the Executive Education business and the overall School through active participation on the Executive Education leadership team and achievement of the business plan.
Develop, coach and lead ahigh-performing and engaged teams in Consulting and Product Design and Delivery, aligned with the School’s purpose, strategy and Guiding Principles.

About you
As a strategic leader, you will have significant experience gained within Senior Roles in Executive/Management Education or Learning and Development together with experience in the discovery, design and delivery of leadership development interventions for clients.
You have the ability and strong passion to build client relationships strategically, recognising the importance of clients and developing mutually beneficial long-term relationships. Your leadership skills will support you to influence, motivate and engage teams to achieve increased performance. Your hands-on approach and confidence will add value to our collaborative, nimble work environment and culture.
A Masters level qualification in Business, Organisational Design, Organisational Psychology, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
