Council’s Governance and Performance Branch is seeking an enthusiastic person to fill the position ofProperty Support Officer– R2273.

Position Objectives
The officer will be responsible for:

Provide support and assistance with facilitating new lease contracts, lease renewals and licenses.
Maintenance of the Leasing and Licensing Database.
Coordination of the Land Manager Consent and Road Reserve Event application processes

Qualifications and Experience
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:

Qualifications and/or extensive experience in business, office administration or similar.
Demonstrated high level ability in the use and operation of PC Software Systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated experience in the ability to process Land Manager Consent applications.
An understanding of and experience with Property Management activities, especially within a local government environment.
Ability to maintain record/filing systems and with confidentiality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to liaise confidently with public on telephone / direct contact.
Ability to set priorities and manage time to achieve specific and set objectives.
A current Driver’s Licence for use in Victoria.

Salary and Conditions
The position is classified withinBand 5of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $71,090.24 to $81,855.28 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
