Support elevate the existing key relationships and expand new network within the industry!

Core Responsibilities

Build Strategic Alliances & Drive Brand Love through Partnerships & Public Relations (30%)

Work with Senior Brand Relations Manager (SBRM) & PR agency to develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
Help to Co-ordinate all public relations activities

Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media

Help to support SBRM to manage media inquiries and interview requests

Draft and craft different type of PR content (for example media announcements, social posts, Influencer briefs)
Monitor, analyse and communicate PR results on a regular basis

Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and media requests on an ongoing basis

Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them

Alongside SBRM, champion significant, mutually-beneficial partnerships, that are meaningful, long-term & provide a win-win scenario for the LEGO Brand
Grow aligned partnerships (based on clear criteria and selection) that are passionate about outcomes, benefits and aligned to our LEGO values

Execute Bricks-in-hand events to drive Brand Affinity (40%)

Project management and operational coordination of all consumer events, from planning to execution

Manage budgets and planning costs for each event, including venue costs, catering, entertainment, and other expenses
Develop, manage and maintain supplier, staff and all collaborator relationships, ensuring all plans are effectively communicated in a timely manner

Co-ordinate with events staff (eg. hotels/venues, agencies) to ensure that all details of the event are handled smoothly and efficiently

Review contracts, risk management and all other relevant event material to ensure relevant details are clearly outlined

Make sure that events run efficiently by monitoring guests’ needs and responding accordingly
Support SBRM with planning, strategy and post report analysis of all brand activations.

Marketing Performance & Execution (30%)

Collaborate with Brand Team, Digital Team, Sales Department to build strategic PR and event programs that support key brand priorities and objectives

Support & manage relevant budgets
Build & maintain long-term relationships with key collaborators (Clients, media, vendors etc) to grow LEGO Brand love & industry awareness

Suggest innovative ideas in brainstorming sessions

Perform a variety of different administrative tasks as the need arises

Do you have what it takes:
3-4 years’ experience in PR, partnerships or events as an Assistant/Coordinator

Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing, and also enjoy and are comfortable in presenting

Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise, successfully project manage and deliver end-to-end events and activations

Strength in the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment under pressure
Strong initiative and enthusiasm to take on & learn new tasks

Infectious energy and passion with proven ability to demonstrate concrete examples of collaboration across functions to deliver the best results

Understanding and experience supporting the implementation of brand/marketing strategies into effective PR programs and alliances

Track record of supporting successful PR and partnerships programs that meet/exceed goals
Experience with consumer product marketing advantageous

Previous experience/exposure working with PR and/or event agencies on campaigns is favourable
