Location: Beckett Way, Cherry Orchard, Dublin Job Purpose: The Risk Management Lead will support the Head of Corporate Governance with the implementation of the risk management strategy for the Rehab Group. The post holder will also ensure a proactive approach to risk and incident management across the organisation. They will develop, deliver, implement, monitor, and evaluate a comprehensive risk management framework to improve risk management across the organisation. This role will have overarching responsibility for risk management in both a service and corporate capacity. Minimum Education & Experience required: An academic qualification in Risk Management or Quality in Healthcare or a professional qualification in a related area or aA third level qualification (NFQ8) in a related field Minimum 5 years’ experience in the development of robust risk management frameworks Broad understanding and previous experience in a health & social care setting Job Duties & Responsibilities Support the Head of Corporate Governance and other key stakeholders to implement the risk management strategy for the Rehab Group, playing a key role in the continuous development and implementation of a risk management framework. Support Rehab Group divisions and support functions to manage risk in line with legislation, regulation, funding requirements, best practice, and the strategic goals of the organisation. Design and Implement a robust risk management framework and appropriate risk management software to identify and monitor risks at all levels throughout the organisation, capturing and reporting on risk management activities, while analysing, and identify areas for improvement and actions required. Support compliance with regulation and legislation requirements. Responsible for identifying key people throughout the organisation to assist in the ongoing development of the Risk Management Framework. Proactively support the Head of Corporate Governance with Rehab Group Insurance related matters, to collectively reduce the number of claims year on year made against the organisation. Provide regular updates on key risk exposure and highlight any related system weakness to the Head of Corporate Governance. Work with Learning & Development to identify appropriate risk management training across the Rehab Group.
