About the opportunity We are looking for a Buyers Assistant to join our Buying Team based at Clonee in ROI; the role has a flexible-working location, allowing you to work from home and the office.Reporting into the Country Trading Manager, the Buyers Assistant will be responsible for providing administration support to the Buying team. The Buyers Assistant will liaise regularly with suppliers as well as various stakeholders across organisation. The role will also be involved in key projects as and when required.This is a diverse role working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for representing our business both in the brand and the budget culture through the products you select. What you'll be doing... As a Buyers Assistant, you will be responsible for:Allocating supplier offers and queries with the Country Trading Manager and the BuyerArranging and attending supplier meetings when requiredLiaising with suppliers and stakeholders throughout the businessCreating and maintaining spreadsheets using ExcelManaging all correspondence received by the Buying TeamMaintaining accurate supplier data ensuring accuracySupporting Buyers with the organisation of samplesPlacing orders for new product as per business needsHandling of incoming calls and emails from suppliers and other departments.
