Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
This resource is responsible for the support and development of the Company’s software products.
Report to the Development Manager
Develop key relationships with Development teams and Professional Services teams
Assist in analyzing and debugging software issues reported by clients.
Develop enhancements or corrections to software according to approved designs and following industry best practices and company standards and quality procedures.
Assist in documentation where relevant.
Support clients in testing of patches/fixes.
Implement client projects within budgeted timeframes and costs.
Assist in any ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
Hands on +5 years working experience using Java and Microservices.
Solid command on the payments industry (at least 3 year, preferably 5 years)
ISO8583, EMV, ATM Driving Protocols NDC+/D912,
Switching Knowledge NCR Authentic, ACI Base24-eps/ Postilion
Excellent experience of working with a database, preferably Oracle (at least 2 years)
Proven skills in the implementation of significant Java-based product development.
Excellent ability to work in an agile environment
A rigorous and thorough approach to quality.
DevOps approach to software development and deployment.
Willing to travel both nationally and internationally.
Candidates must possess a good degree in a technical subject.
