Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electronics or related field and 5+ years of experience in Digital design.

This team has full product development responsibility from definition till releasing products to market. We also take pride in challenging norms on innovation & executing those innovative ideas into products with aggressive, customer-driven timelines. We are defining next generation multiphase voltage regulators IC’s using ARM integrated CPUs and looking to expand digital design team in various domains like IP development, Synthesis, Power estimation and optimization, Advanced DFT, Formal verification and Physical design.

Technical growth opportunity in this role:

  • Work with industry experts of multiphase voltage regulators from various domains like system, architecture, digital, analog, firmware test of starting
  • Exposure to mixed signal design with heavy digital content which will help you understand tradeoffs between Analog-Digital-Firmware partition
  • Influence or learn about firmware flexibility, IP definitions, automation using advanced algorithms & advanced chip level design for test (DFT)

Responsibilities in this role:

As a senior/Lead digital design engineer in a project/s you are expected to:

  • Work closely with Chip architect and digital architect to define new IPs as required for next generation platform requirement of multiphase voltage regulators products.
  • Understand Standard protocols specifications, the functional specifications/ feature enhancements for the product and create micro-architecture and detailed design documents for the IP’s.
  • Be an individual contributor in the Design Tasks – Power and DFT aware RTL design using system Verilog, CDC, Power estimation, Linting, integration of IP’s in subsystem.
  • Come up with Innovative micro architecture concepts to meet stringent PPA goals for IP’s which differentiate our end product from competitors
  • Flexible and scalable architecture and RTL design to bring out multiple parts from platform design
  • Drive methodology enhancements and automation either individually or collaborating with various internal teams to ensure 1st silicon success
  • Ensure that all the process flow constraints are met at the Digital design level and work with the relevant engineers to get the violations understood and resolved

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 5+ year of experience
  • RTL design using Verilog or System Verilog; Should have developed 2+ IP’s from scratch
  • Working experience with Linting, Clock domain crossing (CDC), synthesis is mandatory
  • Hands on experience with multi clock designs, multi voltage design and asynchronous interface is must
  • Experience in Silicon debug is needed; Finding firmware based or metal ECO based solution for silicon bug is desired.
  • Good understanding of power and DFT aware IP development
  • Familiarity with voltage regulators, PVT IP’s, PLL, ADC controllers will be added advantage
  • Hands on experience in Arm integrated processor design on IP’s like (GPIO, SPI, Timers, DMA, Interrupts sequencers, PMBUS, SVID, SVI3, I2C) is plus
  • Design experience in memory interface controllers for RAM, ROM, OTP and Flash is a plus
  • Understanding of backend flows like place and route and timing closure is plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively, and accommodate requirements of team members in other disciplines, including analog hardware, firmware, DV and system engineering.
