Summary:

The Sr, Datacenters Manager is responsible for overall Azure management for the 7 ELEVEN organization operating as a tower within IT Infrastructure & Network Services. This role is responsible for delivery of Datacenter Services and cloud technologies, processes, roadmap, and strategy that is positively impactful to the enterprise productivity. This role will provide vision for enabling the continuous delivery of superior support for infrastructure’s internal and external customers. In addition, this position is responsible for project management and oversight for large initiatives, developing the team by providing consultation services as well as identifying knowledge base training opportunities for future planning and development of IT resources. This role will lead daily support and ongoing improvement opportunities for the enterprise’s Datacenter and cloud services.

Reporting to the Director of Data Center Services, this is a highly visible and user facing role requiring leadership and partnership with IT and Business functional areas.

Responsibilities:

· Supervises, hires, trains, evaluates, motivates and mentors a team of up to 14 IT professionals specializing in end user services, enhancements, deployments, and second and third-level support

· Deliver value optimization through driving adoption of best-in-class datacenter investments

· Lead and drive continuous improvement opportunities for stabilization, integration and Transformation initiatives

· Build strong internal customer relationships to ensure we are aligned to customer and business needs while prioritizing key initiatives

· Maintain a payment card industry complaint infrastructure environment; support annual internal and external audits and maintain necessary change management and documentation

· Deliver and manage observability solutions for insight and proactive resolution capabilities

· Maintain awareness of changing IT trends and regulations which might impact the company and develop strategies that will mitigate any incoming risks and/or take advantage of any future benefits

· Assess upcoming technologies and recommend innovative use of new features and technologies related to supporting the business and digital roadmap

· Work within established configuration and change management policies ensuring awareness, approval and success of changes made to the areas of responsibility

· Provides and coordinates weekly software and hardware release plans to support business activities, vulnerability remediation, IT deployment, and project needs

· Provides guidance and direction on problems, solutions, system parameters and modifications; conducts operational walkthroughs to ensure completeness, accuracy, and efficiency of systems, programs or solutions to business problems

· Responsible for evaluating, negotiating, and implementing enterprise solutions with business customers

· Develops acceptance test specifications for new systems and/or enhancements to existing systems

· Proposes changes in operations and/or established systems in an effort to enhance controls or improve efficiencies through better use of technology

· Participation in contract negotiations with vendors to maximize return on investments as well as development of Statements of Work to cover needs of project deliverables

· Responsible for identifying resource needs and leveraging staff augmentation to obtain the skill sets needed to scale based on forecasted workloads

· Ability to work with a team of peers to ensure project and directional alignment within the infrastructure department.

Education Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements:

· 12+ years professional IT management experience

· Microsoft Azure IaaS (ASR, BaaS) management experience

· Microsoft Azure PaaS (DataBricks, AKS, ANF) management experience

· Hybrid Cloud infrastructure integration experience is a plus

· Experience leading leaders is a plus

Skill Requirements:

· Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues

· Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and track multiple projects concurrently

· Excellent project management skills and ability to keep projects on target and within budget

· Proficient knowledge in computer hardware and software systems and remote support

· Excellent understanding of intra-department functions and operations

· Ability to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching

· Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
