Under direction of the Operations Manager, the Engineering Supervisor is continuously improving the Bulk manufacturing processes to provide better product characteristics, lower costs, quicker cycle times, and better use of assets. This position is also required to perform all supervisory responsibility over the Bulk Engineering Staff.

You will have the opportunity to:

* Develop and maintain process routings for all Bulk's product lines.
* Assess new product inquiries and assist in the development of cost quotations.
* Participate and lead the Material Review Board to help solve shop floor problems as they occur.
* Oversee the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures for the safe operation of equipment and processes.
* Develop process control systems to ensure consistent product quality.
* Assist customers and work with Sales, R&D and Quality in the resolution of customer issues and complaints.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelors degree in Engineering. Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy preferred.
* Minimum 3 years experience as an Engineer in a technical manufacturing facility preferred.
* Relative metal processing experience.
* Ability to facilitate shop floor personnel and engineers.
* SAP / ERP experience.
* Demonstrated ability to successfully communicate with customers, vendors, peers and cross functional teams.

ADDITIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

* Experience in beryllium alloy products manufacturing is preferred.
* Prior experience with coiled sheet strip manufacturing preferred.
* Ability to lead projects (i.e., capital, continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma).
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and serve on safety initiative teams as needed.
* Ability to work well on teams with employees at all levels within the organization.
* Lean Six Sigma certification a plus.
* Solid understanding of process control tools and techniques such as Statistical Process Control (SPC).

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
