Our Asia Pacific Tax team is looking for an experienced transfer pricing professional who can apply their strong technical skills in a dynamic and fast moving environment to help the business transform and scale the global operating model.

You will report to the Head of Tax – Asia Pacific. The key functions that you will be responsible for are:

  • Liaise with department and country leads to identify new transfer pricing arrangements and undertake fact finding and functional interviews to determine where value is created and how business activities should be rewarded.
  • Collaborate with Finance colleagues to assist with the preparation of transfer pricing calculations and partner with the business to ensure successful implementation.
  • Analyse the transfer pricing and international tax implications of new business initiatives, products and strategies to be traded.
  • Prepare APAC transfer pricing documentation, undertake benchmarking studies and assist with the preparation of the Optiver Group master file.
  • Assist with revenue authority queries.
  • Manage key stakeholders within the business (Trading, IT, other Control functions such as Finance & Legal), external tax advisors, external & internal auditors and various APAC revenue authorities.
  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation / developments from the OECD.
  • Share knowledge, present training and provide guidance to other control departments and the business to build awareness of transfer pricing requirements.

    The successful candidate will have 5- 10 years’ experience in transfer pricing and international tax (within a Big 4, tax team of a large corporate or revenue authority). Financial services experience and an interest in trading and global markets will be beneficial.
