The opportunity

QBE Insurance is currently undergoing a fundamental transformation and modernisation, allowing us to enable a more resilient future for Australians. As part of this, we are building out on our Agile capabilities and are seeking experienced and professional Scrum Masters to join the team.

In this critical role, you will:

  • Utilise your project management expertise in a Scrum environment to solve challenges and lead your team
  • Lead and coach our Agile squads to understand Agile ways of working as we transition
  • Drive consistency of delivery practice across teams, using cutting edge practices, tools and processes
  • Build and leverage networks with stakeholders across the organisation to drive delivery efficiency

    To succeed in this role, you'll bring a background consisting of:

  • Demonstrated experience and success in an Agile environment coupled with project management expertise
  • Dedicated experience in a stand-alone Scrum Master role developed in an organisation known for its significant Agile maturity
  • Strong people leadership capabilities and an ability to lead through periods of significant change and transformation
  • Certified Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master and/or SAFe Scrum Master certifications
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to drive outcomes through others
