This role sits within our Technical Division which is responsible for pricing, portfolio management and underwriting services. We drive the development and embedding of the product and pricing frameworks for Allianz’s General Insurance portfolios.

We are looking for a Pricing Manager to lead the Motor pricing team within the actuarial pricing and data analytics function. You will focus on actuarial pricing research, resourcing and projects relating to the pricing, to provide timely and value-add advice to support business decision-making.

You will :

Provide pricing insights based on technical analysis of opportunities and market intelligence on a continuous basis to key stakeholders.
Contribute to Technical Excellence pricing initiatives and embed a data-driven culture across Allianz with respect to pricing decisions.
Contribute to the development and implementation of best practice pricing across responsible products by utilising advanced analytics techniques, extensive data and relevant industry leading tools/technologies.
Develop and implement best practice on pricing, rate review, multivariate modelling, contributing to and supporting the implementation of product/distribution strategy through pricing to achieve target return on equity.
Perform portfolio monitoring and insights, including market/ competitor analysis, while identifying opportunities for profitable growth.
Implement and embed the pricing governance framework across all products, continually improving controls and governance around pricing policies.

Important to your success:

Tertiary qualification in a relevant (actuarial or related) discipline.
Extensive experience in a pricing and leadership role, acquired a general insurance and/or consulting environments.
Comprehensive product knowledge, including regulation and legislation, including actuarial professional standards where relevant.
Demonstrate high attention to detail by completing tasks thoroughly and accurately. combined with the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information and take corrective action.
Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions and report accordingly.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence.
